Step 2: Work Brief & Estimate.

Based on our initial conversations, we create a work brief and estimate for your review. This gives you an overview summary, project assumptions, schedule, pricing and proposed deliverables. With your approval of the work brief, we get to work.

Step 3: Typography layouts.

Frey Design begins by creating a variety of typographical ideas in black and white. Following your review, a few stay and more disappear. No hard feelings, as we are trying to learn from you, inspire response and move towards a great solution.

Once we agree upon a solution in black and white, we then explore color options if needed. Why wait? If the typography can't communicate strongly as a black and white image, then it is flawed, in our opinion. Working in black and white also keeps the early conversation focused on shape and form.
